Expanding on the previously offered Praxis Occultus, this course can be taken as a first-time introduction to Mexican underworld occultism, or as a material add-on for returning students to further explore.
Previously offered to members of law enforcement, this course is a direct experience-based introduction to current and developing trends in Mexican criminal occultism and explores the practices, rituals, significance, and symbolism of some of the most common Mexican criminal folk saints.
Developed for travelers, writers, law enforcement, and anyone who wants to better understand the role of occultism in Mexican and criminal culture, students should walk away with a working knowledge of the current phase and developing trends of the occult in criminal circles in Mexico and abroad, initial exposure to cult iconography and symbols, and some insight into the growth and popularity of these cults in popular culture.
This half-day course, running Saturday, January 29th from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM PST, will be offered in webinar format and will include time for Q&A. This course includes a mailed extra.
